AlphaGraphics to Move HQ to Colorado
SALT LAKE CITY - March 14, 2018 - AlphaGraphics, now based here, announced plans to move its headquarters to Colorado before the end of the year. "We have made the strategic business decision to be in the Greater Denver Metro Area," said Ryan Farris, president and COO of AlphaGraphics. "We are reviewing specific location alternatives and expect to make a final decision shortly."
AlphaGraphics currently has approximately 250 independently-owned AlphaGraphics Business Centers in the U.S., including nine in Colorado, from Grand Junction to Greeley. The company is focused on growing its network of Business Service Centers in the U.S.
The AlphaGraphics network is currently supported by a seasoned team of nearly 50 full-time employees. In the move, the company will consolidate much of its finance, marketing and network support service teams in the new location.
AlphaGraphics was ranked No. 17 on the 2017 Printing Impressions 400 (click here for the complete PI 400 list), reporting most recent fiscal year sales of $303.40 million.
AlphaGraphics considered several U.S. cities for the headquarters relocation. "The Denver area has excellent air transportation connections, a highly skilled labor force and other impressive characteristics to support the company's growth plans," said Paolo Fiorelli, chairman and CEO of MBE Worldwide, which acquired AlphaGraphics in October 2017.
Farris added, "The Denver area is a great metropolitan market to attract and retain top talent to meet the company's needs for the future. The area also has good transportation connections, a beautiful natural environment, a vibrant culture and a balanced emphasis on the quality of work and life."
Farris also noted, "Colorado is certainly an exciting next chapter for the future of AlphaGraphics and only builds upon the tremendous growth, entrepreneurial owners, and excellent corporate talent that the Salt Lake Area and State of Utah has provided. We look forward to continuing to leverage and work with the tremendous owners and their teams in the Salt Lake Area, and all other owners in the AlphaGraphics family, as we continue working together to grow this great brand."
Commenting on the move, Rebecca Gillis, Denver global business development manager, Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade, said, "We here at the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade have been working alongside stakeholders at AlphaGraphics to demonstrate that our state will provide a great atmosphere to move into and grow. We are excited the team has made the decision to relocate their headquarters to our state! AlphaGraphics chose Colorado for a favorable and affordable business environment, ample availability of talent, and excellent domestic and global connectivity for executive leadership. This is a significant addition to our business ecosystem. OEDIT and the State of Colorado welcomes AlphaGraphics, Inc as a valued member of our corporate community."
