Canon Solutions America's Third Annual Anniversary Event Celebrates Growth
MELVILLE, N.Y. — February 26, 2016 — Canon Solutions America, a wholly owned subsidiary of Canon U.S.A., has announced the conclusion of its third annual Anniversary Event, held Feb. 22-24, 2016 in Boca Raton, Fla. This year’s installment commemorated the company’s continued advancement in the industry and presented the goals for Canon Solutions America’s future growth.
The special three-year mark was celebrated by this exciting event that brought together over 40 esteemed industry analysts and reporters from around the country for an exclusive opportunity to learn more about the important relationship between Canon Solutions America and its customers. Guests also heard from key executives on how the company is continuing its pursuit of providing best-in-class support and services. During the event, Canon Solutions America touted its plans for the future, which include impactful product enhancements, a new Experience App, and news on the second annual thINK User Conference.

During the three-day event, guests were invited to a series of presentations given by executive leaders from each division of Canon Solutions America. Attendees were given a comprehensive look into the company and its plans for the future, while learning more about the different business units and their relationships with customers. Each business unit told stories of success and growth through the voice of the customer, and provided guests with an in-depth look into the development of the business relationships. New developments on products were also included, giving guests a first-hand look into Canon Solutions America’s plans for the future as a print industry leader. As seen in previous years, the much anticipated trip to the Customer Experience Center in Boca Raton generated buzz as guests enjoyed the opportunity to be a part of educational group presentations on some of the company’s most impressive and impactful products.

The announcement of Canon Solutions America’s new Experience App created significant excitement during the event. The Enterprise Services and Solutions division, responsible for the development of the app, previewed its features for the first time in a live setting and highlighted its comprehensive bank of information. The app, scheduled to be released in March, allows users the ability to get quick access to all that is happening in the company year-round, while receiving notifications on news, product announcements, and services. Perhaps most importantly, users can use the Experience App to contact Canon Solutions America directly through its integrated messaging center feature.
The Production Print Solutions division showed continued support of thINK, an independent community of its customers, updating the audience on plans for 2016. Additionally, they showcased "The Inkjet Edge," a collection of the learning, know-how, and recommendations of Canon Solutions America customers, its solution partners, leading industry analysts, and inkjet experts for those looking to transition their business to inkjet.
On the wide-format side, guests learned how the company’s Large Format Solutions division is providing turnkey consultative solutions to corporate America for wide-format applications, along with news on the division’s repositioning of its Océ ColorWave 500.
Representatives from Canon Solutions America customers including University of Miami, Kelmscott Communications, Darwill, Landaal Packaging Systems, Salt River Project, Easter Seals, and Impact supported the presentations with insightful looks into their partnerships with each of the respective business units.

A particular highlight of the event was a presentation from featured guest Kenny Broad, a National Geographic explorer best known for his award-winning work in environmental anthropology. Supporting Canon’s overall environmental and sustainability efforts, the former "National Geographic Explorer of the Year" spoke of his incredible travels through underwater cave exploration and anthropology expeditions that focus on many environmental issues from climate change to inequity in natural resource management. Guests marveled at a presentation that included remarkable photography and timely climate and global insights from a true explorer of this planet.
