USA/Docufinish and One of a Kind Prints Merge with New Ownership Deal
YORKVILLE, Ill. - November 29, 2017 - USA/Docufinish has announced that Jason Lambert, the current president of USA/Docufinish, and Steve McKillip Jr., a longtime industry veteran, have joined forces to acquire USA/Docufinish - an industry leader in the label and wholesale printing for more than 31 years - from its founder Steve McKillip Sr. who is retiring in Florida. As part of the agreement, One of a Kind Prints, owned by Steve McKillip Jr., will merge with USA/Docufinish and combine operations in the USA/Docufinish's Yorkville, Ill. plant.
One of a Kind Prints is a leading provider of custom screen printing and on-demand merchandise and serves its customers through several eCommerce sites. Based in Charlotte, N.C., One of a Kind Prints primarily sells custom decorated apparel and merchandise to re-sellers through its websites galloree.com and wholesaleteez.com.
USA/Docufinish has been a longtime manufacturer of pressure-sensitive labels, including laser labels, roll labels, membership cards, repositionable notes, wafer seals, integrated cards and labels, as well as screen printed apparel and wide-format printing. USA/Docufinish also serves the print, mail and promotional industries. The merger with One of Kind Prints will more then double USA/Docufinish's apparel divisions production capacity in addition to adding several new product lines such as sublimated products and embroidery. In addition to the increased capacity, USA/Docufinish will be leveraging the eCommerce experience and process that has made One of a Kind Prints a standout in the online print marketplace.
