Social media generates sales
There is now little dispute that social media is an essential sales channel. Many printing companies are winning a steady stream of new business through their social media activity.

One company in the printing industry has estimated that 46% of their new business is sourced through social selling. 52% of their total new business in influenced in some way by social selling.
On a much simpler level, one of my clients recently won three meetings with prospects that she thought were dead after about fifteen minutes activity on LinkedIn. There are plenty of other similar case studies.

The print industry company that has measured its social selling performance also shared two other interesting statistics with me. Firstly, the conversion rate of prospects sourced through social media is 32% higher. Secondly, these prospects also convert around 30% more quickly than traditional prospects.
