Bristol ID Technologies is growing in market niches such as radio frequency identification tags, allowing for ski passes that can be scanned from 20 feet away. The Lima, Livingston County (NY), commercial printer is about to start on a sizable expansion of its 15,000-square-foot plant, adding 7,000 square feet for more office and production space. The company also has placed an order for a second HP-made Indigo digital printing press.
The 70-person company's five-year plan is to double revenue by the end of 2014 and add as many as 50 workers, said President Keith Yeates.
