For a number of years, the Fairbanks (Alaska) printing company has been posting #THXFBX (Thanks Fairbanks) cards on the lobby walls—all with the same phrase lining the top: “I’m Thankful For…”

Welch, co-founder of Date-Line Digital Printing, says Thanks Fairbanks started in 2012 as a response to his own pessimism. He made it a goal to send a Thank You card a day.
