Madan N. Ramcharan of Willingboro said in a lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court in Camden that he was laid off by A.F.L. Quality of Voorhees (NJ), on Dec. 5 without receiving the required (60-day) warning. Attorneys who filed the suit seek to represent all company employees in a similar situation in a class action. The suit says that accounts for about 250 people.
The suit demands that the company pay wages, salary, holiday pay, accrued vacation pay, pension and 401k contributions and other money allegedly owed to the workers.
Ramcharan…said he and other employees were told on Nov. 29
