The Michigan Economic Growth Authority (MEGA) this week approved tax incentives worth $434,762 for Wisconsin-based Quad/Graphics to expand its Midland printing plant, where it produces catalogs, magazines, books, direct mail and other commercial material. Quad/Graphics will receive the tax credits as it creates the jobs—no jobs, no tax credits.
Quad/Graphics spokesperson Claire Ho says, “At this point, we do not know exactly how many jobs we will create; however, the incentives are there for us to create up to 152 jobs over a five-year period.
“The types of jobs for which we could hire include both production...and administrative customer service positions.
