New Press at Bullitt County (KY) Business

Bullitt County’s largest private employer is investing a couple of million dollars in new (label printing) equipment because of changes in the publishing industry. From its giant presses in Shepherdsville and Lebanon Junction (KY), Publishers Printing Co. and its 1,400 workers produce about a million and a half copies of magazines each day. The president of the company Nick Simon says magazine printing will remain the core of the company's business but, “It’s not going to be a growing industry, so we are looking for growth in other areas.”
