Southwest Publishing and Mailing Purchased by Moore DM Group

An Oklahoma company purchased Topeka (Kansas)-based Southwest Publishing and Mailing earlier this month, but local operations won’t be cut, Southwest’s president said.

Shane Hillmer, who will stay on as president of Southwest Publishing, said Moore DM Group, which is based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is acquiring companies that specialize in direct mailing, and probably will become one of the largest groups in that business. He said he was responding to rumors Southwest was about to close.
