As I pen this blog, I am in Vegas for the 2022 World Series of Poker.
There are lots of great business lessons in the game of poker — patience, situational awareness, position and many more.
In poker, going all-in means that you commit all your chips to the pot, typically with the belief that you have the winning hand.
When it comes to your business, are you all-in? Do you believe that you have the “winning hand?” Do you believe you have what it takes to win?
I believe that the best million-dollar business mindset is an all-in mindset — living your life and running your business fully confident that you have what it takes to win.
Let me encourage you right now to do the following:
- Look around your desk, your emails, your customer lists, your prospect lists and your sources of referrals.
- What opportunities do you have right now to win? Win a sale. Win more sales opportunities. Win an appointment. Win a referral.
- Prioritize those opportunities.
- Then go all-in to win those opportunities.
You may not win them all. But you most likely won’t win any of them unless you go all-in.
