Fresh off the heels of drupa, excitement and anticipation for this year's PRINTING United Expo (Las Vegas, September 10-12) is mounting. We're only 10 weeks away from the most dynamic and comprehensive event in the printing industry, so here are 10 reasons to attend this year's event.
- You Can Take Advantage of the One-Roof Approach: PRINTING United Expo is the place to be if you want to experience the entire printing industry under one roof. Every community — apparel decoration; commercial and publishing; functional/industrial; graphic installers; graphics/wide-format; in-plant; labels and packaging; mailing, shipping, and fulfillment; and promotional — is represented on the show floor and throughout the educational sessions.
- You'll Have Handy Adjacent Market Opportunity Guides at Your Fingertips: Speaking of every community, if you are a PSP looking to expand into a new segment, look no further than the Opportunity Pocket Guides. These handy guides provide segment opportunities, market size, types of products, key markets, entry criteria, best practices, and the names and locations of exhibitors you can visit at the show.
- You Can Stroll Through More Than One Million Square Feet: The show floor will be home to equipment, technology, and trends on display where you can discover new products and innovations at every turn. Put on your walking shoes, power up your step counter, and get moving because you will have over one million square feet to explore.
- You Can Sit in on Riveting Keynote Presentations: One of the most highly anticipated sessions each year is the PRINTING United Alliance/NAPCO Research-driven Keynote presentation, with this year's taking place on Sept. 10 at 10 am. This session — led by Andy Paparozzi, chief economist at PRINTING United Alliance, and Lisa Cross, principal analyst, and Nathan Safran, vice president, both of NAPCO Research — is titled "Harnessing Business Investment to Drive Profitability and Competitive Advantage" and will dive into trends in PSP performance metrics; key concerns heading into 2025; the importance of investments; and more. You won't want to miss the Keynote presentation the following day hosted by Don Hutcheson, president of HutchColor, exploring G7+ and how it differs form its previous iteration.
- You Can Brush Up on Education: With sessions ranging from OSHA and HR matters to segment 101 sessions and technological advancements (such as AI), and everything in between, attendees can opt to some (or all) of their time learning from experts in the industry. The sessions are searchable by segment to make it easy to find the content most relevant to you.
- You'll Be Able to Pop Over to the Unique Knowledge Center: Check out the Expo's dynamic, interactive hub to immerse yourself in the latest trends, attend campfire sessions, network, and grab samples.
- Hop on One of the Easy Transportation Options: You might already be familiar with Las Vegas' Monorail and the Vegas Loop, but did you know PRINTING United will provide a shuttle bus service to and from the Convention Center from 16 hotels? There are also nine walkable hotel locations. Take your pick!
- You Can Take in the VIP Treatment: When you register for PRINTING United Expo, opt in for an extra special event by adding the "After Dark" package. Choose between a standard and VIP package option to gain access to Official Networking Events; nightclub events; invites, news, announcements, and concierge services.
- You Can Support the Women in Print Alliance: If you're a woman in the printing industry, chances are you've heard of the Women in Print Alliance. But did you know that there are many meet ups, networking events, and sessions planned to take place during PRINTING United Expo?
- You Can Make the Most out of the Member Experience at the Expo: If you're a member of PRINTING United Alliance, not only can you receive a free pass to the show and free access to the paid educational sessions, you will also have access to an express, member-only registration line; member lounge with snacks, refreshments, and amenities (which will be needed after you've spent hours exploring the show floor and the educational sessions); reserved seating at the Keynote Presentations; and there will be a Membership booth experience where you can learn more about the Alliance's benefits and programs and schedule on-site meetings with the Alliance's subject matter experts.
There's still time to register for this year's comprehensive event, so don't miss out on checking out everything listed above, and more.
