360 Press Solutions Adds to Capabilities with New Speedmaster Press

CEDAR PARK, TX—June 5, 2013—360 Press Solutions, a Central Texas graphics communications company, makes no bones about it—the recession has been good to them. While many other established printers have been downsizing to stay alive, 360 Press Solutions has been working hard to expand their business by adding staff and buying cutting-edge printing equipment from their competitors.

Jason Tuggle, president of 360 Press Solutions, said, “We’re adding a second eight-color Heidelberg Speedmaster press to complement our high-end printing capabilities and to be flexible enough to adapt to a changing market environment. When we first opened our doors, we started with a very dependable six-color Heidelberg Speedmaster press. After running 24/7 for some time now, we needed a second bigger press to increase our production capabilities. We fell in love with our first Speedmaster, and that’s the reason we’re continuing our love affair with our second Speedmaster press.”

Their new Heidelberg press was purchased from a Florida press broker and completely disassembled for shipping on three flatbed trucks to Texas. “Timing was bad as Florida was being hit with heavy rain storms and experiencing flooding,” noted Tuggle. “That delayed the loading and shipping of our press, but the shipper took great care to protect the press from the elements.” The press move and installation took about a month from start to finish.

Tuggle estimates 40 percent of their business comes from outside Austin, TX. His four-year old company has been able to hold their own against fierce competition from other printers and they have been profitable. Tuggle continued, “Key to our success is that we have experienced pressmen and knowledgeable account people on staff—we are known for our outstanding customer service.”
