Rob Mayerson has been hired as the new general manager at Sandy Alexander's digital technology division, eSA Digital Solutions, in Clifton, NJ. He most recently served as general manager of digital operations at a national direct marketing company.
Kim Wright has been appointed to the newly created position of COO of the Hooven-Dayton Corp., Dayton, OH. He now reports to the company's president and CEO, Christopher Che. Wright most recently served in the same capacity at Inovar Packaging Group of Arlington, TX.
New officers of the Printing Industries Association of San Diego (PIA/SD) were installed recently. They include: chairman of the board for his second term, Greg Gould, president of Eye/Comm Inc.; vice chairman, Jim Lakdawala, president of VDP Direct; and secretary/treasurer, Brad Reimers, president of SOS Printing. In addition, Chris Hamm, president of Tabs Etc., is the immediate past chairman.

The Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation (PGSF) presented the 2011 Harold W. Gegenheimer Award to John Berthelsen, president and CEO of Suttle-Straus Inc., Waunakee, WI. The award was presented to Berthelsen at the PGSF board meeting held during Graph Expo.
Brendan Burns has been named the new CEO at North Adams, MA-based Excelsior. Prior to joining the company, Burns worked as founder and managing director of Stepping Stone Capital Partners. He was also the founder of AdOne Classified Network, which later became PowerOne Media.
Maryland Heights, MO-based NOVA Marketing Services, a subsidiary of The Matlet Group, has established sales offices in Chicago and Cincinnati. The company has hired two sales veterans, Tim Macke and Randy Michelson.
Moonachie, NJ-based EarthDigital, the digital division of EarthColor, has appointed Cheryl Kahanec to the position of executive vice president. She is now responsible for spearheading the company's focus on integrated solutions and cross-media marketing.
