Salesman Faces Charges
RUSSELLVILLE, KY—Kevin Gettings, a former sales representative for Gerald Printing, has been arrested and charged with embezzling more than $220,000 from his employer. He allegedly invented a phony subcontracter company, which received direct payments from a customer for work performed by Gerald Printing. If convicted, Gettings faces a five- to 10-year prison sentence.

Burton & Mayer Adds Angel
STURTEVANT, WI—Family owned Angel Lithographing has been acquired by Burton & Mayer of Menomonee Falls, WI, the Journal Times reported. Manufacturing at Angel's facility will shift to Burton & Mayer's shop, and Angel will become a division of Burton & Mayer. Angel Litho co-owners Bill and Dick Angel will join the Burton & Mayer sales force, according to the paper.
RRD, Chrysler Sign Contract
CHICAGO—RR Donnelley announced it has been awarded a new multimillion dollar, multiyear print management agreement by Chrysler Group. Donnelley will provide a comprehensive array of services, including premedia resources and sourcing support, commercial printing, direct mail, logistics and forms.
BRD Nabs EP Images Assets
LANSING, MI—BRD Printing has acquired the assets of EP Images. The addition of its personnel to BRD's staff is expected to increase BRD's capability to serve the needs of its clients. EP will be a division of BRD Printing.
Firm Acquires AlphaGraphics
SALT LAKE CITY—Business and marketing communications franchisor AlphaGraphics Inc., formerly owned by the UK-based G.A. Pindar & Son, has been purchased by an affiliate of Maryland-based private equity fund Blackstreet Capital Partners II.
Expansion for Lehigh Phoenix
HAGERSTOWN, MD—Lehigh Phoenix, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Visant Corp., is expanding its complex here. The expansion will add 28,000 square feet to the existing 180,000-square-foot facility. Lehigh Phoenix, which originally relocated to Washington County in 1992, is a provider of book components and short-run books for the trade and educational publishing segments.
Corporate Press Buys SP
LANHAM, MD—Printing, mailing and direct marketing specialist Corporate Press has taken delivery of a Komori Lithrone 540 Super Perfector (SP). At 13,000 sheets per hour and the capability to print on both sides of the sheet in one pass, the press is suited for publications, direct mail components, newsletters and brochures, among others.
PFL Makes Assets Deal
LIVINGSTON, MT—PrintingForLess.com (PFL) has acquired certain assets of Tucson, AZ-based Southwest Color. Details of the transaction were not disclosed. PFL CEO Andrew Field anticipates that his company will explore other strategic acquisitions this year.
