HPGprint Hosts Open House to Show Capabilities of Xerox Color 1000i, Metallic Inks
NORWALK, Conn. — April 5, 2016 — Print providers are constantly looking for ways to stay relevant with their customers, while simultaneously looking for efficiencies and productivity gains for their operations. Xerox works with customers to help transform their facilities and accelerate the transition with high-value applications. By partnering with Xerox, HPGprint utilized the company’s business development tools to educate customers, create awareness and generate new business growth.
HPGprint invested in the Xerox Color 1000i press with metallic gold and silver specialty dry inks to expand its capabilities with the use of metallics through a wide range of applications. The company leveraged the silver and gold "Print to Impress Fast Start" business development kit for an open house to show off its new technological investments and the latest applications. The printer also placed ads that featured highlights in silver metallic ink throughout the Printing Industry of New England newsletter prior to the event.
Twenty-six attendees from 18 different companies joined HPGprint at the open house to experience the capabilities of the Xerox Color 1000i press and the potential impact of metallic dry inks. As a result of the business development program with Xerox, and within days of the open house, HPGprint garnered new sales accounts and three new projects. The company has now purchased a second press.
“The production capabilities of the color press have enabled us to take our business to the next level,” says Greg Wallace, president, HPGprint. “Using Xerox’s silver, gold, and clear dry inks have enabled us to sell and improve the quality of our products while also increasing our range of capabilities.”
Established in 1991, the Harvard Pinnacle Group Corp. started as a Macintosh training and consulting facility. Now known as HPGprint, the print manufacturing facility provides high-quality and short-run digital printing solutions and finishing services to trade partners and print brokers across New England.
The Xerox Color 1000i press and the ProfitAccelerator business development resources collection will be on display in the Xerox booth at drupa, Hall 8B, Messe Düsseldorf May 31-June 10. For more information about Xerox at drupa, visit: www.xerox.com/drupa
