A Coffee Roasters Delight
Roast Magazine's May/June 2012 issue was entered into the Trade Magazines, Web, Gold Ink category by Shepherdsville, KY-based Publishers Press. The magazine is dedicated to the success of coffee roasters around the globe and provides them with the latest information to the trade. Curious coffee lovers alike will also appreciate the process and science that goes into creating that perfect cup of coffee.
On the cover, the image of the coffee mug and the magazine title in red (shown in the photo tab to the right), is simple and bold, directly suggesting what the magazine is about. While some magazines are chock-full of ads, Roast Magazine offers a nice balance of ads and articles. The ads are both fun and clever, as each one makes you want to turn to see the next.
The colorful images throughout the magazine were rendered perfectly on Publishers' Hantscho and manroland web presses. The paper used was from Sappi Fine Paper.
Roast Magazine is a great example of a well-rounded publication that is designed for a specific trade, delivered in a well-organized and fun format.
