Our friends at INKISH TV, a TV-channel dedicated to the printing industry, had the opportunity to spend some time at The Printerverse booth at Graph Expo 16 and talked with this year's Girlie Award winner Deborah Corn, PI blogger, principal and chief blogger to The Printerverse for Print Media Centr. Corn was recognized for her work in helping people to engage in the printing industry.

"I'm a production person so I stay behind the scenes and I push people in front of the scenes to do the best that they can do and be the best that they can be, which is what my community is all about," says Corn. "So, to get a recognition for that is truly something that means so much to me ... It's a recognition that people out there are listening and hearing that collaboration and partnership work."
Corn continues, "It's not about competition and separating each other. It's about bringing everybody together, and this award pretty much shows that it's being noticed."
Corn took her place, alongside past Girlie Award recipients Pat McGrew, director, Keypoint Intelligence; and Cary Sherburne, author, journalist and marketing consultant. Both McGrew and Sherburne also discussed why the Girlie award and its community is important to the American printing industry.
