Corporate CEO Meg Whitman announced in 2012 that HP would trim 27,000 jobs—8 percent of its total workforce—in an effort to save more than $3 billion.
The Personal and Printing Systems division supplies personal computing equipment, printing supplies and hardware. The division reported an 8 percent year-over-year revenue dip in the quarter ending July 31, the newspaper said.
