ROCHESTER—Rochester Institute of Technology's College of Imaging Arts and Sciences recently received a donation of an eight-color, 20˝ Mark Andy 4150 press, capable of using UV-cured, water-based or solvent-based inks. The system will be used for research on environmentally safe printing processes. Donated accessories include a corona treater, an automatic register control system and an electrostatic double-sided web cleaner. The donated equipment is valued at more than $600,000.
