FORT WORTH—Branch-Smith Inc. has been selected by the Institute for Family Business at Baylor University as one of the most outstanding family firms in Texas. Branch-Smith, a 90-year-old business, received the Institute's 2000 Family Business of the Year award for medium-sized companies.
