FAYETTEVILLE—The University of Arkansas Printing Services made a number of new additions to its in-plant facility, including Binuscan's Color Pro color correction software, a CreoScitex EverSmart Pro II flatbed scanner, a CreoScitex Brisque 4 RIP, a Dolev 800 filmsetter, a five-color Komori perfector, a Saber cutter from Colter & Peterson and a 40˝ MBO folder.
CALIFORNIA
SANTA ANA—Westlam, a supplier of trade laminating and UV coating services, has installed a new Autofeeds laminator as part of its plant modernization program.
CONNECTICUT
NORTH HAVEN—The William J. Mack Co. has ceased operations after being in business for more than 38 years. Bill Mack has joined Miller-Johnson Inc., in Meriden, CT, as vice president.
FLORIDA
MIAMI—Trade Litho announced it has added three sheetfed presses to its pressroom. The units include a four-color, 40˝ Komori Lithrone, a six-color, 40˝ Heidelberg with in-line coater, and a two-color, 28˝ Sakurai press. Also, the company has merged with fellow Kelmscott Communications member Little River Press, also of Miami. The merger resulted in the addition of two new web presses at Trade Litho—a new four-color Atlas and a two-unit Royal Zenith.

CICERO—Unique Printers provided highly personalized promotional materials for attendees of the 12th annual Unisource Annual Report Show and Paper Fair, held in Chicago recently.
ROCHELLE—A trio of Fujifilm devices have been installed at Rochelle Printing, a trade publications shop. The equipment includes a Saber Luxel P-9600 CTP platesetter, a PictroProof digital color proofer and a C-550 Lanovia drum scanner.
WHEELING—The Segerdahl Corp. recently co-sponsored the 8th annual Pegasus Big Apple Circus Benefit in New York City. All funds raised this year were donated to the fund established for the wives and children of the fallen New York City firemen and police officers.

FORT SCOTT—Sekan Printing has installed a six-color, 40˝ Mitsubishi 3F press equipped with a TriService CC400 temperature control system.

NORWOOD—Millennium Graphics recently installed a new six-color, 40˝ Komori Lithrone press equipped with a TriService ColorCommand temperature control/cooling system.

CUBA—Versa-Tags has installed a new Fujifilm Sumo eight-up imagesetter. Versa-Tags is a 30-year-old plastics printing business.

FORKED RIVER—Regal Printers has installed a new Rollem TR die-scoring system with a rollaway right angle.
NORTH BRUNSWICK—Webcraft, a business unit of Vertis Inc., has changed its name to Vertis Direct Marketing Services.
ROSELLE—Quality Graphics Center has added a Polaroid Graphics Prediction automatic digital halftone proofing system.
NEW YORK
BUFFALO—Digicon Imaging has purchased more than $2 million in equipment and software upgrades at its 32,000-square-foot facility. The equipment includes a six-color MAN Roland 300 press, two CreoScitex Trendsetters and Imation's Digital Matchprint and Matchprint Plus systems.
HICKSVILLE—Coral Graphics has installed a six-color, 28˝ Komori Lithrone press equipped with a ColorCommand temperature control/cooling system from TriService.
LONG ISLAND CITY—Cosmos Communications, based here, has merged with Reproduction Services, of Bridgeport, CT. Rampart Group LLC represented Reproduction Services in the transaction.
NORTH CAROLINA
CHARLOTTE—Trade finisher Subtle Impressions has installed an Automatän jogger/aerator load turner for readying loads of paper prior to downline finishing operations.
OHIO
CLEVELAND—The Chilcote Co. has merged two of its divisions, Chilcote Graphic Services and Forest City Bookbinding to form a new enterprise under the name Graphic Imaginations. It was also announced that Lakeview Products, a diecutting, foil stamping and finishing company, intends to merge with Graphic Imaginations.
WESTERVILLE—Precision Printing, a full-service graphic communications company, has added a six-color, 40˝ Komori press with in-line aqueous coater.
OREGON
MEDFORD—CDS Documentation is now doing business under the name CDS Publications. The name change was prompted by the need to more closely align the CDS brand with all sectors of the publications market, not just technical documentation. CDS is a member of the Kelmscott Communications network.
PORTLAND—Oregon Catholic Press has installed a Expon-Holzmag ELAN B60 briquetter to remove milling dust from around its perfect binder, separate the air and dust, and produce briquettes from the dust.
WISCONSIN
MADISON—Tuttle Lithography reports it is up and running with a new Fujifilm Dart Luxel T6000 CTP thermal platesetter and a PictroProof digital contone proofer. Tuttle specializes in sales catalogs, marketing and promotional materials, and stochastic printing.
WISCONSIN RAPIDS—Fey Publishing has expanded its production capacity by equipping its pressroom with a new two-color, 40˝ Mitsubishi Model 3F-13 sheetfed press. Fey specializes in promotional materials, sample books and related products for the paper industry.
