Label specialist Multi-Color Corp. has purchased promotional packaging provider Quick Pak. Multi-Color will retain all 300 Quick Pak employees. Both companies are based in Cincinnati.

PHILADELPHIA—The Graphic Arts Association's Neographics 2002 award winners have been announced. Alcom Printing Group, Harleysville, PA, took the Power of Print Award for its "VLS Corporate Brochure." First runner-up was Tierney Communications of Philadelphia for its "Philadelphia Eagles SBL Mailing." Second runner-up went to Wenzel & Co. of Pennington, NJ, for "The Jersey Fresh Cookbook." Lehigh Press of Pennsauken, NJ, came in as third runner-up for the "Holt Literature and Language Arts Book Cover." Elizabethtown, PA-based ITP of USA rounded out the top five with its "Kingsley Bate 2001 Catalog" entry.
