FORT MYERS-Goss International reports that it has received an order from the Gannett Co. for a major tower addition press expansion project for its existing Goss Metro press lines used for The News-Press and USA Today at its plant here. The expansion project will involve the addition of four shaftless Goss Uni-liner four-high towers to two Goss Metro press lines. Each tower features the Goss Digital Inking system. At the same time the older Metro press equipment will be upgraded to a Goss digital inking MPCS press control system.
