Miniature Folder Boosts Onsert Capacity
BROOKLYN PARK, MN—Competitive Folding has purchased a Vijuk–G&K V-14 commercial/miniature folder from Vijuk Equipment to help meet the demand of its small-leaflet folding business. Adding a fifth Vijuk folder helped to boost the company's capability to produce folding onserts for its customers across the United States.
"Two hours after the Vijuk folder was delivered, I had the folder running and, within a week, we ran more than 3.5 million onserts on it for various customers," says owner Dale Carpentiers. "The speed is possible because of the continuous-load, bottom-feed feature, and there is no downtime for reloading. That that is why we can offer our customers a good price."
