Meeks Group Adds Pair of Wide-Format Printers
TULSA, OK—Wide-format printing specialist Meeks Group has installed HP Scitex LX850 and FB700 industrial printers to help improve its productivity, meet environmental demands and diversify the company’s application offerings. Founded in 1961, Meeks is a full-service print provider specializing in vehicle wraps, banners, trade show graphics and point-of-purchase displays.
With the new HP solutions, the company will expand into thicker rigid substrates and fabric applications. Meeks selected the HP Scitex printers based on environmental and productivity considerations.
“The higher productivity afforded by the new machines has really helped us exceed some of our larger customers’ expectations for turnaround without a loss in quality,” said Jerry Crockett, president and CEO of Meeks Group. “In fact, we have added four new employees in the last quarter to keep up with the increasing demand for our services.”
The HP Scitex LX850 printer’s ability to lower the impact of printing on the environment while maintaining high print quality will be attractive to new and existing eco-conscious Meeks customers, such as the Cherokee Nation.
“We are proud of the customer relationships we have established over many decades because we do business with traditional values—trust, integrity and honesty,” said Crockett. “We take a personal interest in all the projects we produce and strive to offer the highest level of service.”
