Agfa, Canon, EFI, and Fujifilm to Keynote Sponsor the 3rd Annual Wide-format Summit
Leading technology developers throughout the wide-format value chain have signed on as sponsors of the third annual Wide-format Summit, being held July 24-26 at the PGA National Resort in West Palm Beach, FL. Agfa, Canon USA, EFI, and Fujifilm Graphic Systems have taken the four available top Keynote-level sponsorships.
Produced by PRINTING United Alliance and Wide-Format Impressions, the Wide-format Summit is an invitation-only event designed for senior executives from printing companies that have significant wide-format printing operations and plans to invest in the technology. The agenda combines thought-provoking keynote sessions, user panels, interactive case studies highlighting innovative applications in the field, and in-depth 1:1 meetings between attendees and technology solution providers. The focus throughout the Summit will be on the steps forward-thinking executives must take to grow, improve, automate, and optimize their wide-format businesses.
“Agfa is very pleased to once again be a Keynote Partner in bringing the Wide-Format Summit to the community,” said Deborah Hutcheson, Director of Strategic Business Development & Distribution for Agfa. “It’s one of the best events we participate in all year. What really sets the Summit apart is the networking. People are very open and honest about sharing their business challenges, things that they’ve learned, information and solutions they are seeking. It’s just a wonderful exchange of information and ideas.”
“EFI is anticipating another great Wide-Format Summit and we’re excited to once again participate as a Keynote sponsor,” said Ken Hanulec, VP of Worldwide Marketing for EFI. “We continue to see strong growth opportunities in the wide-format space, and the innovation that print service providers have shown in not only adapting to the challenges of the past few years but reinventing their business models and improving their efficiencies has been very impressive. The Summit is a great platform for all the key stakeholders in the industry to share ideas and discuss the new strategies and technologies they are implementing.”
Summit sponsors span the full range of solutions for wide-format print service providers, including ERP and web-to-print software; print engines for flatbed, roll-to-roll, and digital textile printing; inks; roll-fed and rigid media; direct-print and dye-sublimation textiles; workflow and automation software; color management and quality control technology; finishing systems; and installation services.
“We’re proud to sponsor the Wide-Format Summit at the Keynote level,” said Chris Cohara, National Sales Manager, Wide Format Inkjet of Fujifilm North America’s Graphic Systems Division. “The in-depth dialogue between printer attendees and sponsoring technology providers that takes place throughout the agenda is invaluable, and totally unlike any other event in this industry. It’s a unique opportunity for everyone in the community to get 360-degree insights into the critical issues printers are facing and the solutions they need to address them.”
“We’re looking forward to supporting the Wide-Format Summit at the Keynote level,” said Rich Reamer, Senior Director, Marketing, Canon USA. “Print service providers in the wide-format space have always embraced the need to adapt and innovate to address the changing business conditions and new opportunities that continually present themselves. Being a Keynote Sponsor of the Wide-Format Summit gives us the opportunity to have in-depth conversations with customers and explain how Canon’s wide-format portfolio can help support their growth and success.”
Other renewing sponsors of the 2023 Wide-format Summit included Advantage Innovations, CloudLab, Durst, Epson, Fisher Textiles, Global Imaging, GMG Color, HP, Idealliance, INX, Laird Plastics, Lindenmeyr Munroe, Mimaki, Nekoosa, OneVision, Roland DGA, Significans Automation, swissQprint, Summa America, Tilia Labs, and Zund. First-time sponsors include Acco Brands, Dupont, Greentex, GSG, the Mosaica Group, PrintFactory, and TVF. The Wide-format Summit debuted in July 2021 in Austin, TX, to great acclaim from both attendees and sponsors. In exit surveys, 100% of past sponsors said they found their 1:1 meetings with attendees to be highly valuable, and 100% of the attendees said they would recommend that peers attend the event in the future.
