Agility Press Now Operates All-Canon Digital Fleet With Latest Installations
MELVILLE, N.Y. - November 12, 2018 - Canon Solutions America, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Canon U.S.A., Inc., today announced that Agility Press, a distinguished print and mailing services provider in Jacksonville, Fla., now operates an all-Canon digital printing press fleet, supporting customers of all sizes with the Canon imagePRESS C10000VP, Canon imagePRESS C8000VP, and Canon image PRESS C650 color digital presses. Additionally, Canon Solutions America equipped Agility Press with a Canon varioPRINT 135 monochrome digital press.
Founded in 1996, Agility Press has a longstanding commitment of providing unparalleled quality to its dynamic range of clients, which includes some of the nation's largest corporations as well as small, independently owned family businesses. President and founder, Ray Farah, got his start as a prominent print service professional recognized for his customer-first approach and passion for excellence, which prompted him to build his own company based on the principle of total customer satisfaction. Fast-forward 20 years, and Agility Press has become one of the largest commercial printing companies in the Northeast Florida region.
"With the help of Canon Solutions America, we are better prepared to support our customers' printing and mailing needs," said Farah. "At Agility Press, we are dedicated to offering our customers the best quality and service, and so we strive to continuously invest in cutting-edge technology that will exceed expectations. We are always looking for ways to improve our offerings, and Canon Solutions America has truly helped us enhance our output capabilities to deliver superior results."
Since installation, Agility Press has benefited from outstanding productivity and dynamic print flexibility, due in part to the offset-like, vibrant and stable output quality of the series. To help advance its levels of print versatility even more, Agility Press added the Canon imagePRESS C650 to its digital print fleet. The company also added the Canon varioPRINT 135 monochrome digital press taking advantage of various sustainability features that include no ozone emissions, fuser oil or developer, and virtually no toner waste or particle emissions, as well as one of the lowest TEC (Typical Electricity Consumption) values in its class and HeatXchange technology's clever reuse of energy that helps reduce energy consumption.
"For many years, our company has sustained a leadership position due to our deep appreciation for our customers and our belief that they deserve access to the latest technology on the market," added Farah. "We are looking forward to expanding our revenue opportunities and continuing to grow our business with the support of Canon Solutions America's digital printing solutions and their exceptional service."
Agility Press places great value on providing environmentally friendly solutions to its clients and is persistent in finding new ways to improve the company's sustainability efforts. In alignment with Agility Press' sustainability goals, Canon believes that creating great products and caring for the environment go hand-in-hand. Canon aims to reduce environmental burdens in all stages of the product cycle and its global Environmental Management System focuses on resource conservation, energy conservation, and elimination of hazardous substances.
"We value working with companies that place an emphasis on the customer-first approach and that align with our vision for a more sustainable future," said Peter Kowalczuk, president of Canon Solutions America. "We are proud that Agility Press trusted Canon Solutions America to help improve their services and help enhance their customer stories with Canon digital technology."
