Alexander's Print Advantage Adds Two HP Indigo 100K Digital Presses
Alexander’s Print Advantage, a Utah based company specializing in automated print and fulfillment, announced it added two new HP Indigo 100K Digital Presses to its existing fleet of production digital presses to meet rapidly growing demand for its high quality, automated print and fulfillment services.
Based 30 miles south of Salt Lake City, Utah, Alexander’s has been serving its customers since 1979. Alexander’s has grown from a multiple location copy shop to a global print and fulfillment enterprise serving clients in 14 countries and shipping to more than 30 countries around the world. Alexander’s specializes in custom, print on demand products including books and journals, cards, invitations, photos, direct mail, fulfillment for DIY shops, and more.
Jeff Alexander, President of Alexander’s said, “Alexander’s Print Advantage produces one-off products and we rely on the flexibility of our fleet of HP Indigo presses. We have really enjoyed our first HP Indigo 100K and to meet our production demands we have decided to add two more 100K’s so we can continue to deliver the quality and quantities our customers are demanding.”
Over the past several years, Alexander’s has faced rapid growth, growing 35 percent last year alone driven by demand for automated, on-demand services. Already equipped with one HP Indigo 100K, an HP Indigo 12000HD, an HP Indigo 7800, and an HP Indigo w7250 digital press, these two additional HP Indigo 100K digital presses will help scale their business while providing top tier quality for customers.
During peak season, Alexander’s is shipping up to 30,000 orders per day. In order to efficiently process thousands of orders per hour, Alexander’s is leveraging HP PrintOS and open APIs to integrate and optimize workflows. Doing so enables customers to automatically feed orders directly to Alexander’s business systems, streamlining the process for both Alexander’s and their customers.
“Automation is the key to Alexander’s rapid growth. We rely on HP’s automated color management, APIs and PrintOS workflow architecture every day to deliver the highest quality products, faster and more efficiently than ever before,” said Dan Mortimer, Chief Technology Officer at Alexander’s.
“HP is honored to be a long-term trusted partner of Alexander’s as they scale their business to meet rapidly increasing demand for their services,” said Fernando Alperowitch, Vice-President and General Manager, AMS HP Industrial. “With these two additional HP Indigo 100K Digital Presses and HP PrintOS, Alexander’s will continue delivering high quality solutions in automated print and fulfillment for their growing customer base.”
