All Signs Signal Growth at Sir Speedy, PIP, Signal Graphics Annual Convention
MISSION VIEJO, CA—August 19, 2013—The annual Sir Speedy, PIP Printing and Marketing Services and Signal Graphics International Convention and Vendor Show was held July 24-28 in Indianapolis. Franchise owners and salespeople from around the country were presented with awards for sales and other outstanding achievements in 2012 during the three-day gathering. In addition to the award ceremonies, events included keynote presentations, breakout seminars, social gatherings and the largest trade show hosted by any single company in the printing and marketing services industry.
Franchisees of the Year
Each year Sir Speedy and PIP recognize a recipient for their Franchisee of the Year Award. The selection criteria are based on a franchisee’s demonstration of a deep belief in the franchising concept, and promotion, support and encouragement of franchising and the franchise network.
The 2013 Sir Speedy Franchisee of the Year Award was presented to Lloyd Newton, who owns franchises in Raleigh, NC and Richmond, VA. He has been a Sir Speedy franchisee for over 20 years.
The 2013 PIP Franchisee of the Year Award was presented to Bruce and Linda Pansky of Downey, CA. Mr. and Mrs. Pansky are second-generation owners of PIP in Downey, having purchased the center from Mr. Pansky’s parents 27 years ago. In total, the center has been operating in the family for 44 years.
“We present more than 200 awards in many categories to recognize the sales achievements and accomplishments of leaders in our franchise network,” said Richard Lowe, president of Franchise Services. “Each and every one is well-earned, and I am honored to have such a talented and professional network of franchisees and salespeople in our organization.”
Other highlights of the Convention included general session presentations by Barb Pellow, group director, InfoTrends; and inspirational speaker and trainer, Krish Dhanam, Zig Ziglar, as well as a vendor tradeshow where leading companies in the printing, graphics arts, sign and marketing services industries exhibited in more than 100 booths at the Indianapolis Convention Center. Ricoh served as Signature Sponsor of the 2013 event.
