AlphaGraphics of Downtown Raleigh, NC, Acquires 120-Year-Old Commercial Printing Co.

RALEIGH, NC—September 18, 2014—AlphaGraphics of Downtown Raleigh, NC, located at 410 N. Boylan Ave., has announced that it has finalized its acquisition of 120-year-old Commercial Printing Co., a leading provider of visual communications and print located at 1313 Fairview Road in Raleigh. Commercial Printing Co. will now operate as part of the AlphaGraphics global franchise network of locally-owned printing companies. These complementary companies have combined at the Fairview Road location to focus on providing increased benefits to customers through a broader range of services.

Through this acquisition, Commercial Printing Co. is able to expand its services to include multichannel marketing, communications, digital design, and large-format works such as full-scale banners and vehicle wraps. AlphaGraphics of Downtown Raleigh will have an opportunity to increase its customer base, as well as leverage the Commercial Printing Co. name, which has been a Raleigh staple since 1894.

The combined companies, Commercial Printing Powered by AlphaGraphics, represent over 200 years of experience and a deeply rooted commitment to the printing industry and to the state of North Carolina. By joining forces, AlphaGraphics of Downtown Raleigh and Commercial Printing Co. will expand to over 20 employees and will be able to provide customers with enhanced printing and marketing communications services.
