American Litho Purchases Large-Format Mitsubishi Press with UV Capabilities
CAROL STREAM, IL—Dec. 18, 2012—American Litho, a premier commercial printer, has purchased a Mitsubishi Diamond 6000LX sheetfed press designed for printing on thin paper stock up to board. Slated for installation in January 2013, the seven-color, 56˝ press with inline UV curing will join a large stable of heatset and coldset web, sheetfed and digital presses at American Litho’s headquarters facility here.
The Diamond 6000LX features a maximum sheet size of 40-15/16 x 56-11/16˝ and prints on stock ranging in thickness from 0.004 to 0.04˝. By ordering the press equipped with interstation UV-curing capabilities, the company can offer the ability to print on a wide variety of substrates and use different coating techniques on packaging, point-of-purchase-displays and other specialty products.
