AMSP/NAPL/NAQP Offers Resource for Mailing Service Providers at GRAPH EXPO 14 Deliver Theater
EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ―August 18, 2014―Mailing, printing, and fulfillment firms that offer direct mail services―or are considering doing so―will be able to access the latest mailing information and real-world solutions at the GRAPH EXPO 14 Deliver Theater (Booth #1867). The theater is sponsored by AMSP/NAPL/NAQP, which was formed earlier this year through the merger of the Association of Marketing Service Providers, National Association for Printing Leadership, and National Association of Quick Printers.
Located in the show’s Mailing & Fulfillment Center, the theater will provide free daily programs covering all facets of mailing service operations, management, and strategic development. GRAPH EXPO 14 will be held Sept. 28-Oct. 1 at McCormick Center in Chicago.
"We are pleased to sponsor this year’s Deliver Theater and offer show attendees solutions-oriented sessions with mailing, fulfillment, and marketing experts covering topics such as current U.S. Postal Service programs, multi-media marketing campaigns, and tips to help mailers and their clients increase response rates and profitability," said AMSP/NAPL/NAQP COO Ken Garner.
The theater (at booth #1867) is located directly across the aisle from the AMSP/NAPL/NAQP booth (#2067), which is staffed with printing, mailing, and marketing services advisors. Among the experts on hand at both the theater and the booth is association Vice President of Postal and Member Relations Leo Raymond, one of the foremost mailing experts in the industry. He will offer a U.S. Postal Service update at the theater and answer mailing questions at the booth.
Editor of the industry-standard Postal Points newsletter and leader of the Postal Points Webinars, Raymond joined AMSP after a 35-year career with the U.S. Postal Service that included serving at USPS Headquarters in Washington as a Mail Classification Specialist responsible for administrative rulings and appeals, support for rate and classification filings, and management of the Domestic Mail Manual.
"There is simply no one in the industry more knowledgeable about the nuts and bolts of mailing than Leo and there is no one who can untangle complex USPS regulations and give you a more direct answer or one with greater clarity," relayed Garner. "If you have any mailing-related question, he is the one person you should not miss speaking to while you are at the show."
The Deliver Theater will once again feature the popular "Ask the Mailing Expert" station, where attendees can get free advice from mailing and fulfillment gurus on all mailing- and direct mail marketing-related questions. Scheduled theater presentations include "Got Mail? How Service Providers Can Increase Their Direct Mail Business" with Karen DeWolfe and "Using Inbound Marketing to Grow Business" with John Foley Jr., both of interlinkOne; and "Folded Self-Mailers" with folding expert Trish Witkowski of Foldfactory.com.
The theater will also feature presentations by AMSP/NAPL/NAQP business advisors, including sessions on "Adding Signage to Your Print Shop" and "Succession Planning" by Mitch Evans; "Sales Management Optimization" and "Build Your Go-To-Market Sales Plan" by Mike Philie; and "Anatomy of a Deal in the Printing Industry" by Mark Hahn.
Garner noted that visitors to the GRAPH EXPO Mailing & Fulfillment Center, Deliver Theater, and association booth will find an unprecedented array of mailing-related information: "Whether they want to explore the potential profitability of adding fulfillment or mailing services, learn how to launch a mailing or fulfillment initiative, or discover the latest way to enhance their existing mailing or fulfillment operation to improve client results or attract new clients, this is where they will have convenient access to everything they need.
"If companies now have, or plan to add, mailing or fulfillment services, they should definitely include these stops on their show itinerary," he added. "And if they don’t, they should consider stopping by during the show to learn what mailing or fulfillment services could mean to their bottom line."
In addition to the mailing and fulfillment experts available at the AMSP/NAPL/NAQP booth, association consultants with expertise in strategic planning, finance, executive staffing, CEO coaching, succession planning, mergers and acquisitions, marketing, sales and sales management, workflow improvement, and in-plant operations will be available for free consultations throughout the show. Visitors can stop by Booth #2067 to meet with a consultant or set up a free 30-minute one-on-one session by contacting Leslie Karhoff at (800) 642-6275, Ext. 6308, or lkarhoff@napl.org.
