Appleton Coated Launches Ethos Brand to Represent Growing Portfolio of Uncoated Products

COMBINED LOCKS, Wis. — February 23, 2016 — Appleton Coated has created Ethos, a new brand to represent its growing portfolio of uncoated products.

John Mazuroski, Appleton Coated’s executive director of uncoated and specialty products, explained, "The Ethos brand name helps our customers understand that we have developed and brought to market a broad range of uncoated grades. It collects all of them under a single umbrella brand, similar to Utopia, our flagship coated brand introduced 20 years ago."

He continued, "Beginning in January of 2014 with the introduction of Pharma Insert Opaque, we have maintained a steady stream of uncoated product innovation. Within a year’s time we introduced Uncoated Web Inkjet, Fiscal Opaque, and Pharma Insert High Bright. We also recently expanded the range of our uncoated offset product line with the introduction of a new 100% Post-Consumer Recovered Fiber (PCRF) offering."
