TORONTO — July 28, 2016 — Avanti Computer Systems, a leading provider of cloud-based Print MIS solutions, has announced that Stephen Feldman has joined the company’s executive team as the director of product management.
Feldman is responsible for providing product management leadership for the Avanti Slingshot Print MIS platform and brings with him an extensive business development background from both software and hardware industries.
“With Stephen’s expertise, we will take Avanti Slingshot to the next level for our customers,” explains Patrick Bolan, president and CEO, Avanti. “His impressive résumé demonstrates a wealth of experience spanning the full product management lifecycle: from build through launch.”
Prior to joining Avanti, Feldman gained more than 25 years of experience in product management with leading technology companies. He previously served as director of product management for Unify (formerly Siemens), leading the team responsible for their global contact center business. He managed 350 channel partners for IT consulting and managed services provider Acrodex, including HP and Cisco. While at Microsoft Canada, he developed marketing programs to streamline customer deployment of Microsoft Office. Feldman also has served in marketing roles with Platform Computing, Hummingbird, Cybermation, ATI Technologies and Toshiba.
Expanded Sales and Customer Support Groups
Avanti also welcomes Karen Kimerer, West coast regional sales manager; and Amy Leitheiser, technical pre-sales specialist.
Kimerer joins Avanti following an 18-year career with Xerox Corp., selling their graphic arts products. Most recently, she was focused on assisting Xerox clients achieve operational efficiencies, strategy and profitable growth. She currently sits on the regional board of directors for Printing Industries of America (PIA) and is based Seattle.
Leitheiser has a broad career history in selling, marketing and supporting Web-to-print solutions, cross-media marketing software, various ERP and MIS systems including SHARP, SmartLinc and most recently, EFI. Amy is a graduate of University of Wisconsin-Platteville, and has a BS in International Business, with a minor in German. She is based in Milwaukee.
