CGX Places Order for 10 HP Indigo 10000 Presses

DUSSELDORF, GERMANY—Printing industry M&A specialist Consolidated Graphics (CGX), which boasts one of the largest integrated digital printing footprints in North America, has purchased 10 HP Indigo 10000 digital presses.

HP and CGX officials disclosed the purchase agreement during the drupa 2012 trade show here, where HP is showing the HP Indigo 10000 model press—the first B2-format (29.5x20.9˝) sheetfed HP Indigo solution—publicly for the first time. Houston-based CGX will begin installing the presses at locations throughout its 70-company network when the product line becomes commercially available in early 2013.
