Baker & Taylor Publisher Services Adds New Canon Sheetfed Color Inkjet Press
Baker & Taylor Publisher Services (BTPS), a leading provider of economical services and solutions to book publishers, is pleased to announce the addition of a new Canon varioPRINT iX-3200 4-color sheetfed inkjet press to its book manufacturing division.
With stunning image quality that far surpasses previous generations of inkjet technology, Canon’s varioPRINT iX-series of presses deliver a product nearly equivalent to toner-created books but with the more cost-efficient options of inkjet. Now, with BTPS’s newest printing press added to its already strong digital printing capabilities, book publishers can be confident in inkjet image quality and consistency, increased printing speeds, and a more economical printing solution compared to traditional toner printing options.
“We’re thrilled to have invested in BTPS by adding the varioPRINT iX to our existing digital printing line-up,” said Bob Gospodarek, VP of Operations for Baker & Taylor Publisher Services. “Since book publishers are always conscious of cost and quality, our printing clients will love this bold, new inkjet option that delivers both, alongside our other first-rate digital printing solutions.”
“We are extremely proud of our solutions and are confident that inkjet technology can help our customer’s business grow and provide excellent products for their end customers,” said Francis A. McMahon, Executive Vice President, Production Print Solutions, Canon Solutions America. “BTPS is a shining example of a company investing in itself, and we are excited to continue supporting their goals and objectives for years to come.”
