REHOVOT, ISRAEL—October 31, 2014—Benny Landa, the founder of the Indigo press and the acknowledged father of digital printing, has been named Israeli entrepreneur of the year during the Journey conference, sponsored by Israeli business newspaper Globes and Ernst & Young.
Landa has more than 800 patents to his name and his awards include the Edwin H. Land medal awarded for achievement in printing and imaging industry. His current nanographic printing press initiative could also translate into applications for the energy and health care sectors.
In addition, Landa is Israel's candidate for the title of global entrepreneur of the year, which will be announced in Monaco next June.
