New Folder Meets High-Volume Demands

Westford, MA—Ledgeview Printing has added a new USA B20 Stahlfolder with a right-angle folding unit. The two-station, pile-fed folder joins the company’s existing TF 56 Stahlfolder to address its increasing volume of commercially printed work.
“As our folder capacity has increased, our bindery bottleneck has vanished,” says company owner Rich Maggio. “Thanks to the B20’s faster speed and quicker makereadies, we’ve been able
to significantly improve our customer service.”

Trade Shop Goes Large with Sewing Machine

PHOENIX—A new Smyth F150L large book sewing machine has been installed at Roswell Bookbinding, a full-service trade bindery based here. The touchscreen-controlled system has the ability to automatically produce Smyth sewn books up to 22x14˝. According to Roswell President Mike Roswell, the F150L has been running nonstop since it was installed.
