New Slitter/Cutter/Creaser Addition Increases Shop's Digital Color Document Finishing Capabilities
ORLANDO, FL—Replacing its guillotine cutter, SunDance Marketing Solutions has purchased a Duplo DC-646 slitter/cutter/creaser. The new machine performs all of these actions in a single pass. And for projects that might require a reorder in the future, the machine features a CCD scanner to scan a barcode, recall any job stored in memory and then set up the job identical to the previous run.
"What previously mighthave taken us days or hours can now be produced in minutes," says Director of Operations JohnHenry Ruggieri.
SunDance works closely with many Fortune 500 and medium-sized companies to produce online ordering systems for folded business cards, small brochures and other printed products that need to be reordered on a recurring basis.
Trade Printer/Finisher Generates More New Business with Digital Spot UV Coating
IRVINE, CA—In searching for equipment that would allow its clients to differentiate themselves from the competition, trade printer and finisher Taylor Graphics has acquired an MGI JETvarnish 3D digital spot UV coater, sold by MGI dealer Print & Finishing Solutions.
