New Cutters Help Online Trade Printer Handle the Workload of Gang-Run Jobs
CLEARWATER, FL—Print Harmony LLC has added two new Heidelberg Polar cutters at its facility here to help keep pace with rising demand, 24-hour turnarounds and to compete with larger trade service providers. The Polar 115 Xplus and Polar 115 XT machines join four existing Polar cutters in use across Print Harmony’s operation, which also includes a sister plant in Easton, PA.
According to General Manager Jake Travis, heavy-duty cutters were a must for the shop, since Print Harmony typically performs more than 100 cuts on each of its gang-run, multiple-up, UV-coated sheets containing a mix of postcards, business cards and brochures.
