BINDERY matters
Spiel Open House Features Binder and Coil Inserter
LONG ISLAND CITY, NY—Spiel Associates held a two-day spring open house last month at its facility here. Visitors had the opportunity to view live demonstrations of the Sterling Digibinder perfect binder and Sterling Coilmaster Jr. automatic plastic coil inserter. Also on hand was equipment from Graphic Whizard and Rilecart, as well as a wide variety of used machinery.
Printer Expands Finishing Capabilities
OKLAHOMA CITY—Love's Echo Media, the design and production center for Love's Travel and Country Stores, has added a Duplo DC-645 slitter/cutter/creaser to round out its in-house capabilities. Since installing the new unit, the print shop now outsources less finishing work.
"The DC-645 has allowed us to produce a box of business cards in just two minutes, whereas before it would have taken us 20," notes Eric Roth, creative and production service manager. "We also use it for producing custom marketing pieces, custom cards, specialty marketing programs and in-store promotion tags."
