Courier Corp. Places Order for Web Press

NORTH CHELMSFORD, MA—Book printer Courier Corp. has placed an order to install the fourth manroland Lithoman web press at its Kendallville, IN, facility. The press is expected to be installed by the end of the year. As is the case with its three existing Lithoman machines, the new addition will have four printing units on a single 1,460-millimeter web. It will include semi-automatic plate changers and the manroland QuickStart package. Complementing the press is a faster PFI-5 drive folder with two quarter folders.

Courier publishes, prints and sells books. It has two lines of business—full-service book manufacturing and specialty publishing. They include educational, religious and specialty book publishing on many topics.
