Bookmasters Welcomes New General Manager
ASHLAND, OH—December 9, 2013—Ken Fultz has been named the new general manager of Bookmasters, a leading provider of a full range of publisher services, including printing, print book warehousing and distribution, eBook conversion and distribution, editorial, design and marketing services.
Prior to joining Bookmasters, Fultz was most recently the vice president of operations at Thomson-Shore, a leading Michigan-based book manufacturer. Previously, Fultz spent 33 years with The Mazer Corp. in Dayton, OH. He last served Mazer as vice president and general manager of its printing services division.
“Ken's leadership and organizational management skills have been the backbone of his successful career,” said David Cully, president of retail markets and executive vice president of merchandising for Baker & Taylor, Bookmasters’ strategic partner. “He is well-recognized in the book manufacturing industry as a consummate professional with a proven track record for operational excellence and customer satisfaction, as well as demonstrated ability to grow sales, reduce costs, and while simultaneously improving customer service. We are pleased to have an executive with his rich experience join an already successful Bookmasters team.”
In his new capacity, Fultz will work closely with David Hetherington, Baker & Taylor’s vice president of academic library and higher education merchandising/publisher services, to continue to strengthen the strategic partnership that was forged between Bookmasters and Baker & Taylor in July 2013.
