Brodock Expands, Adding New Equipment

UTICA, NY—Brodock Press recently completed a $5.5 million expansion that it expects will drum up $10 million more in annual revenue and pave the way for the addition of new jobs, according to the Utica Observer-Dispatch. The major acquisition for Brodock is an eight-color Komori Lithrone S40 sheetfed press, along with a Xerox iGen3 digital production press.

Barbara Brodock, who co-owns the company with her husband, Craig, told the paper that the company had hired four employees from the recently shuttered Canterbury Press, and that up to 10 more positions may be created. A 5,000-square-foot addition helps alleviate the space crunch.
