Brown Printing Obtains Ferag Inserting Line
WASECA, MN—Brown Printing has contracted Ferag to supply and install an EasySert inserting line at its facility in East Greenville, PA. The line will mainly be used for adding up to 12 inserts (postcards, magazines, etc.) to stitched products.
The EasySert inserting equipment destined for Brown, a wholly owned subsidiary of Gruner+Jahr in Hamburg, Germany, will be the third installed in North America and the first in the United States. Ferag is represented in North America by Goss International Americas.
Installation of the Ferag EasySert line has already begun, with full production scheduled for the first quarter of 2011.
