Bureau of Engraving's Lynne Alexander Receives ‘Industry Leader’ Recognition
MINNEAPOLIS—May 27, 2010—The Bureau of Engraving Chair and CEO, Lynne Alexander, received the “Industry Leader” recognition from the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal’s annual Women in Business award program. The women being honored come from companies ranging in size from the large fortune 100 companies to the start-up, entrepreneurial organizations. She and the other honorees were also featured in the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal’s May 21, 2010 publication.
The Bureau of Engraving is majority owned and operated by women, a unique position especially in the print industry. Alexander is leading the organization through major technology and infrastructure investments at a time when most of the competition is retreating or going out of business. The organization is also being aligned to continue improving the marketing results of our customers with all their print initiatives. New talent is being recruited to further leverage these investments.
“It is an honor to be recognized with so many accomplished women,” states Alexander. “This honor is not my accomplishment alone. The entire board of directors, management and employee team shares the common vision to be the premier, women owned and operated business with an unflinching goal to exceed the expectations of our customers.”
