TORONTO — January 16, 2017 — Jay Mandarino, president and CEO of The C.J. Group of Companies and the management team are proud to share the following announcement:
On Friday January 13, 2017, we have concluded the sale of our three existing buildings totaling approximately 125,000 sq. ft. and 4.5 acres where we are currently operating in Etobicoke.
At the same time, we have purchased the Veritiv facility (formerly Unisource) located at 560 Hensall Circle near Cawthra/Dundas Streets in Mississauga just west of the Etobicoke border. This location will be only five to eight minutes to the west of our current operations.
The new location is on eight acres, two floors and is approximately 230,000 sq. ft., we will add another 30,000 sq. ft. and have the ability to expand an additional 50,000 sq. ft. when required. This building has 27-foot ceilings and 300 plus parking spots and will be the largest independently-owned facility for printing and communications in Canada, providing a truly one-stop solution for all clients.

We will now be able to move all our operations into one facility. It will also allow us to have additional space for future growth for acquisitions and mergers.
We are also excited to announce we will be adding full mailing services, a new litho press, a new large-format press with full automation and a new digital press.
As well, there will be additional expansion to our bindery, Digital division, Large-format division and our new Innovation division.
Our Not-For-Profit indoor Skateboard and Scooter Park will also be expanding, making it one of the largest in the world.
We also have the top eight Board sports magazines in Canada published through SBC Media which we recently acquired and will move into the new location as well.
We will take possession at the end of May but will be starting renovations at the end of February and will be all moved in by October 1st.
There will be no downtime or interruption to business as we will install the new equipment first and then move our existing operations.
This is one of the most significant expansions for our industry in recent memory!
We were extremely fortunate to have sold all of our buildings at the highest values ever and move to Mississauga to reduce our costs.
With purchase of the new building, renovations and new equipment, we will be investing in excess of $25 million!
Upon completion, we will have reduced our costs and increased our efficiencies making us incredibly competitive!
