Cadmus Financial Finds British Ally--Promo Div. Is Renamed
CHARLOTTE, NC—Cadmus Financial Communications, based here, and FPC Greenaway, of London, are in a joint trading agreement to market, produce and distribute financial documents worldwide.
Combined, Cadmus and FPC Greenaway, a leading European financial printer, have facilities in 70 cities worldwide. Negotiations were in the works for a year prior to the partnering.
Why was this agreement made? International document distribution.
Cadmus is already creating, producing and distributing financial documents for its domestic customers internationally through this agreement and feels that the pact will help Cadmus Financial attain its overall growth objectives on an international scale
Under terms of the alliance, the two firms will operate internationally as FPC Cadmus. Alan Roberts of Cadmus Financial and Gary Knights of FPC Greenaway are heading up operations.
Officials from both firms report that the creation of FPC Cadmus offers the market a new and distinctly different international financial printing option.
"This is an outstanding alliance that will enable our clients to gain even greater efficiencies with respect to speed to publication, accuracy and reduced delivery costs," reports John H. Mullis, president of Cadmus Financial.
"As our economy becomes increasingly global, we are positioning FPC Cadmus to meet the communication needs that accompany the consolidation of business and the expansion of industries."
In other Cadmus news, Cadmus Communications reports its promotional printing division has been renamed Cadmus Graphic Solutions Group. This group comprises the corporation's commercial printing, prepress and marketing operations at the company's Richmond Airport and Byrdhill Road facilities.
David Hajek has been named president of the Graphic Solutions Group. He joined Cadmus in 1991 as president of the company's former William Byrd Press subsidiary in Richmond. Most recently, Hajek served the firm as vice president of client services at the corporate headquarters.
Along with the name change, the Cadmus Graphic Solutions Group reports several promotions: John R. Chambliss to vice president of sales; Mark Dalkiewicz to operations manager for the group's commercial web printing business; and Donyell Bissing, Garry Martindale and Dan Thompson each to the rank of operation leader.
