HARRISON, NY—July 8, 2014—Point of Purchase Advertising International (POPAI) announced the winners from more than 460 entrants during this year's competition. Entries are judged in a two-round process by teams of in-store marketing professionals representing brands, retailers, ad agencies, and producers/suppliers. Each round focuses on design, innovation, interactivity, and the proven ability to lift sales.
"This award show is so much more than just honoring the hard work and creative achievements of those in the industry," said Richard Carrigan, POPAI chairman and president of United Displaycraft. "It's a show that provides us, as marketing professionals, new benchmarks and innovations to reach as we continue to battle numerous obstacles in the retail environment to win shopper's attention."
Case Paper's substrates comprised part of a display that won Silver and Bronze awards in the Temporary Signage Division. Case Paper worked with the design team of a major brand to create an outstanding window display to attract consumers and promote a new product line through unique creative elements. Part of the design task was to incorporate the artistic story being told with the new product while driving sales and bringing shoppers into the store.
"Case Paper's Sonata Silver and Sonata Holographic substrates were incorporated into the display," noted Russ Pritchard, director of marketing. "The success of the joint efforts between Case and customer was evident by not only an increase in same store sales, but also from the positive in-store responses to the product line."
